Agreed that Bill, just like me, may not be patient to wait given the current slow pace of the progress on RoF. But, we may in for a surprise if people just come to their senses and are willing to work together (who can predict the future especially with politicians and as you indicated NGOs meddling. Bill's deep pocket was just an example in my previous post wrt the PyroMet furnace technology which can be applied for other metals to make value-added ptoduct. There are other deep pockets around e.g. the Ontario Teachers' Pension Fund which just invested in CPG a company in the USA . More details can be found in the link below.
This fund may want to invest in the RR business as well, just like CN (Gates is the largest holder) which may want to participate in the "re-structuring of the Ontario Northland Rail".
The ProMet furnace (with all the potential employment and tax generation) may serve as a carrot for the Ontario to jump in, just like the CLF proposed smelter at Capreol (note Capreol is 30km north of Sudbury (not 30m as indicated in my previous post, oops!)
Btw, mining operation is a global business. Canada companies are operating/investing wordwide, and Canada is one of the largest mining nation in the word. May be someday we will take over the USA? LOL.
