- NOT samples: Certain a possibility for the 2 companies to co-operate. Once NOT decides to sink a shaft, they can get as much sample as they'd like. But again, don't go overboard. Get just enough for the pilot scale demo. BB and BH are probably siamese twins joining at the hip. Note: Baosteel is sitting in that corner watching quietly, but they can move (or open their purse) anytime.
- From the general knowledge they can use chrommite ore somewhere else for a larger scale demonstration. Basically, this proceess, a modified DRI for iron ore which is a well established technology, involves burning off/reducing the unwanted components in the chromite ore (the O component). Using gas would be cheaper than the electricity required for the SAF.

Since this process is not so complex, it would be safe to expect that the commercial operation would be sucessessful. I would say there is no need for a large scale demonstration. They (KWG with partners) could wait until the commissioning stage of the processing plant to test/fine tune the process using chromite ore from where else.
That's my take.
