BB,
I've studied the E/W, N/S route issue in extreme detail. The last 80k is swamp from every angle except KWG's esker. Check out Noront's initial E/W route. Nothing has changed from their conclusion that the only way to get nickel out was by slurry pipe and forget about chromite, as it doesn't travel in a slurry. In other words, they face the same uphill climb that Cliffs does, heavy public subsidy needed. That is not going to happen.
Did you understand James Franklin's "the chromite discoveries in the Ring of Fire are “very, very well behaved” so that initial (inferred) reserves estimates routinely move over to the (indicated and measured) categories with more infill drilling due to the enormous size and predictability of this massive deposit." in Stan's 4 part series?
I thought you would have known Cliffs by now. Cliffs is not suspending it's chromite project. It's only suspending it for the press and politians. Of course, it can't continue to burn the $4M per month. The new CEO shut that down. But don't fool yourself.
