First of all, if you've never been to PDAC before, you need to have a love of escalators and walking. The actual Investor Exchange & Trade Exchange are several levels underground. I was expecting to see Lake Ontario or Bedrock (I mean Flintstones Bedrock, lol). No wonder they can squeeze the Convention Centre into the downtown core and I do mean, core.....

A big thank you to BOLD for putting on a great party yesterday at the Royal York Hotel. I met so many people that I knew from past ROF Golf Classics, from ROF meetings, from Agoracom, from a number of mining companies and many new acquaintances as well. Finally got to meet and speak with Frank Smeeck & Bruce Hodgman of KWG. It was a pleasure for me to finally get a chance to speak with them both.

It was also a pleasure to meet Gary Zak, one of Bold's Directors and great to talk with Chris Meraw, formerly of Debut Diamonds and owner of the best smile this side of the Mississippi.

Also talked with Richard Nemis, David & Judy Graham, Jim Voisin of UC & FMG and also saw some other famous faces - Neil Novak formerly of Spider, Mac Watson formerly of Freewest, Ian Brodie Brown, and more than I cannot remember at the moment. It was a who's who of the junior mining sector.

Thanks to Elaine & Malcome Finlay and Maureen (Irish) for putting together a great evening. It was well received by all who attended and the room was busy all night.
