Hi strato,
1. Health discussion: This is not a Dr. Oz column, just some ideas to pass along for weight control. Got a few friends who quit smoking and started gaining weight. But, the discussion below would be applicable to everybody who is sitting around playing a lot with computers. Get off the chair once in a while to run up (to see what's going on outside) and down again the stairs to the computer room.
- Various ways for weight control: Some chew gums (sugarless of course), other would munch on celery or carrot sticks (limit the number of sticks by munching very slowly with rest in between), eat more veggies and less starch (pasta, bread, etc...you need some but no too much). Another good snack is popcorn, see link below. But keep the popcorn naked, i.e. no salt, no sugar, butter, margerine,...nothing, just plain popcorn. Because of the volume expansion before (popping) and after eating (water absorption) popcorn make your stomach full and you don't feel hungry. But, as usual, control the amount... just enough for eating pleasure. Apparently, besides the antioxidants, there is a chemical in there (see article in link) that is useful to the heart.

- Exercise: Walking is good. During the winter, try a large shopping mall and keep on walking in comfortable walking shoes, around and around, buying nothing, just window shopping. One friend brought his large/jumbo size to a slim size in about 1 year by walking, and he got a before picture in his wallet to show. Take a picture and keep it in the wallet to check the progress.
- Moderation: Everything must be done in moderation. Too much of a good thing is bad, just like too much hydration could cause elevated pressure in the brain. Some people/student/world class runner died or got into serious trouble drinking too much water during a short period.
I am not a health professional, so the above is just some friendly suggestions which might be useful.
2. Back to Goldtrain (GT): This play looks interesting. The "train" (it's actually in the logo) in Goldtrain must have some special meaning = NS choo choo for the RoF, to Frank? I think Frank (he's one of GT directors) is playing this long shot to diversify a bit. A good example is PRB. It has BC, but it hit a "mother lode" at Borden Lake and gold is now its main focus. Currently it has 8 drills, on the ice surface, drilling away to extend the newly found high-grade zone (some of the grade is phenomenal). GT is at an early stage, but the area has been proven to contain lots of gold. If it gets lucky with the drilling GT could become a significant company. A few notes below.
- Diversification: Potential golden egg in a separate basket (in a PRB model) outside of the RoF for KWG
- 20% of a significant company is good for KWG.
- Interesting that GT mentioned PRB in the Corp Presentation (see one of the maps)
- As discussed Frank is one of the 4 directors on the BoD
- If I not mistaken GT shares the same office with KWG in Toronto, so convenient for Frank and that would save some money for GT in travelling and office expenses. Did not check to see if they share the same phone lines.
Enough for now, more may be forthcoming.
