Because that means the Cons won't go backing CLF, if they get in, next Prov. election. If McThingy hadn't made promises (of course, broken ones), CLf is just the sort of Big Biz company the Cons love to subsidise. Now they are probably digging for dirt to throw around, connected to those promised low rates for power & help with their private road.

As it is, both Libs & Cons will push for public transportation routes, open to all companies & people living up there.
