It does seem fairly clear that Cliffs requires some sort of change to it's BoD. But does anyone really want a slimy hedge fund to be the one that makes the changes ? I think not. Bring in Mick Davis or whomever to make the changes necessary and Cliffs will be better off by a longshot. History tells us what hedge funds do for retail shareholders. So why not bring in someone who has the shareholder at heart, instead of the hedge fund company and their money buddys. You can't contact anyone at Casablanca, no email addys available online....that should tell you something about these people.
