Good one from my evil twin on Stckhs
RE:RE:Gravelle and KWG
Gotta agree with you Etalien but....I think he has no choice. Way back in 2012 they announced that they would support Cliff's private road to the tune of $600 million with and undisclosed subsidy to their hydro rate...well Cliffs went on with their investment assuming that they would win the easement decision (so did the Liberals I think)...so once they cozied up and got to the pillow talk, it was impossible for them to back down once the easement decision didn't go their way and now they are faced with a possible sizeable liability if Cliffs decides to sue them after the appeal...so the Libs will get their clarification on the ruling through the intervention of the AGO and get their clearance to move forward from the Deloitte report, but they cannot and must not utter any divergence from Cliffs on any front until the have the excuse and the indemnity that will be provided by "professional opinions". Between a rock and a hard place would be putting it mildly, since they know that if they contradict the mining act in any way, then they won't only have to deal with KWG, but also all the other mining companies who have claims in the province. If the validity of their claims is compromised in any way and value is lost or even the perception of value is lost, then the prov gov will wish that it was only Cliffs suing them. JMHO of course. Best of luck to all KWG longs, Pear3
