Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
In the previous post I addressed only the surface rights, but "what lies beneath" is also important in this business. Here's what I just posted on NOT board, for your info.

TinM,
Your post says: "I don't think Noront has any intention of challenging the surface rights across these claims, but something tells me both parties have an idea about mineral potential below them, and neither one is about to give that up; IMO."
I would say so as well, since the deposits in the area seem to be so close together. There are other stuff beside chromite, and may be the chromite BB, BH (from FNC JY land) would join beneath with a portion accessible from the "new" Koper Lake claims. NOT 2011 regional map shows a fair size red blob in the NW corner of this new claims (just below the C-1 area of FNC JV) with Eagle 2 and BB not too far on the west side. KWG was doing deep directional (steerable) drilling at Koper Lake, but I don't know the exact locations and if they have published the results.
Yes, "what lies beneath" may be the key here. If KWG struck something, Ni and PGM would be fine. Chromite is good as well. If the deposit is large enough KWG may not depend on BH for its chromite holding (it aready has 30%BD which is the best deposit to developed first along with BC which is next door).
