Why would cliffs sell??? at these prices they won't get much for them and it's not costing them anything to keep them. They're smart enough to know that the ROF is going to be moved forward and what better way to benefit than holding a substantial position in what will be one of the primary players going forward. Cliffs sells their chromite assets and keeps shs of KWG almost like a royalty into perpetuity. At some time in the future they may require what is being taken out of the ground in the ROF and what better way to assist this than being a major shareholder or perhaps partner as an investor not producer with another major entity mining chromite and buy out KWG chromite assets.
