KWG holds the un-patented mining claims in blue.
It is my understanding that Cliffs and Ontario's want to put their industrial toll all-weather road right on top of those claims. I believe they intend to expropriate by use of the Crown's Order No. W-TB-172/11 citing application under the Lands Act for public use of crown land through the office of the Attorney General of Ontario. However, that is conjecture on my part.
KWG's application filed for the judicial review of a decision of the Minister of Natural Resources ("MNR") to permit sampling for aggregates by a subsidiary of Cliffs on the CCC claims a year and a half ago, appears to be still forthcoming even though KWG awaits the obligatory reply from the Minister. However, that is conjecture on my part.
The application sought an order in the nature of certiorari setting aside the decision of MNR dated April 15, 2013 in which the MNR authorized the respondent, Cliffs Chromite Ontario Inc. to undertake geotechnical and aggregate testing in respect of lands covered by mining claims held by CCC.
Fishtrap Lake is small and under Kitchie Lake to the left center.
