Now we know what Mr Moonias has been after. Road access for his community and money/work for his contracting company. Fair goals, good on him.
Now, let's hope he has enough vision to allow space along that esker for heavy duty transport. Which means rail, alongside the all weather road they intend to build. Since this new road will be more 'in the public interest' than the CLF proposal, there should be no problem with permits. Also, this is a light duty road, not the CLF vision of a private road for heavy ore trucks.
Of course, by the time rail is built, that construction company could be in a position to bid on work on that project. One good reason to hope for support from that quarter.
The plan unfolds, bit by bit. Wynne visited Marten Falls, remember?
Anyone know where this airstrip is going? Would the disputed claims (now ruled to be KWG legitimate claims) be close or at that location? Will we now see 'public interest' cited to allow building this regardless of who has the claims?
