The way I understand Mr. Rickford and Mr. Oliver statements is that Ontario's credit rating will probably be down rated by SP next time. Ontario Liberals have no choice but put Ontario finances in order. The credit card is maxed out and money is short. To develop the ROF it takes a strong will; a credible plan (which Ontario does not have) and interested deep pocket mining company willing to participate in the develpment of ROF. All issues with FN; and written confirmation that capital is pegged for ROF infrastructures development must be in place prior deep pocket participants are reveal. No major participant wants to live through anothe Cliffs saga. Ontario was deeply involved with the Cliffs saga and commited to Cliffs and cannot be participant in ROF without being sued and making ROF chomite resourse tied into a lenghty law suit. The only way to make ROF development is to have the federal government being involved with port authority and get KWG and senior partners sitting down with FN and work out a deal. If anyone ever plants a garden in the Spring will understand that you need seeds to grow a garden. Basically the way I see it Onario has no money to purchase seeds and cannot grow a garden because of their multi years of mismanagement. Too bad so sad. I am impressed of the federal government move with ROF and of course it shows into their multi years of political experience and of course Mr. Harper was able to pull Canada through the worst financial crisis and Canada is the only country with a bright future. Of course ROF will contribute greatly into making canada's future brighter and ROF must become a reality very soon. I trust that 2015 will bring very positive development for ROF and its venue will become a great federal election promise and can only become a reality with the federal government. I have been an Ontarian all my life and never before I felt so ashamed to be an Ontarian. We pay the highest electricity cost in Canada; I downsized property many years ago and in the last 8 years my property tax bill increased 60% without added services. I see a multitude of young adults moving to western Canada because our Ontario politicians do not care and do not do the job that they are elected to do. Always talk and more talk. No wonder Mr. Harper is not interested in listening to more talks from Ontario PM. The Ontario Liberals simply have no credible plan, hypothecated my generation and the next two generations future. All I care is to see good governance to bring Ontario province status to what it was at one time not so long ago "a province where wealth was generated; manufacturing and mining were leading industries which were job creators and we could say Ontario was a good place to live. I view the federal government latest approach to ROF as the only way to make it happen.
