This announcement could not come at a better time. With the market games being played by "unknown" parties to keep the price down there has been an ever growing feeling that the ROF was completely stalled.

The possibility of First Nations participation in rail developments in addition to their investigation into power supply out of Quebec reduces 2 key concerns with the future of the ROF.

This could well lead to end-game arrangements being finalized among First Nations, Mining industry representatives, and the federal government. The province could well be excluded from these negotiations despite the billion dollar pledge that has not seen the light of day as yet. It would look good given the absolute lack of progress we have witnessed in the last year by the buraeucratic development company announced with all the bells and whistles by the provincial government.

This is of course all IMHO, but I say - Make this the next true step in the development of the ROF.
