Just to note:

The Northwest Passage is only seasonal and stock piling of concentrate and/or ore would have to be done.

I believe more Polar class vessels and Canadian Ice breakers are being built as sourced by our Prime Minister. Some in the East Coast and Ice Breakers in BC.

That being said unless global warming picks up the process the Northwest Passage will only be a seasonal route.

HMM the speed or global warming or the Ontario Government this race is to close to call check back for the photo finish in 30 or so years.
