Anyone who understands what is involved in the future development of the Ring of Fire knows that what is required is a railway, not a highway.

Actually, that's terribly incorrect. It would be correct to say that in the long term, a railway is needed for economical shipping of chromite.

But to say that future development depends on a railway is short-sighted at best. If there are no roads to get FN communities connected and on-board, there will be no development, simple as that. I want a rail connection as much as anyone, but I want to see the roads being built first, because that's a necessary first step.
