Regional inclusion of $50B chromite development from start makes sense for the First Nation, the environment and our economy and will not impinge ROF capital investment.

This is another reason why Noront's "Just get to first base" 'northern' east west road idea for the Ring of Fire infrastructure will not work.



Ontario and Noront can not bypass the Neskantaga First Nation by building a quick fix, nickel only carrying road. It must be a regional solution for the chromite that will bring in the necessary added revenue from the project start to support all First Nations needs, while also including Marten Falls and Neskantaga.

The First Nation needs more time and by including the chromite development from the start, gives them that time to properly add their input as true partners. It also gives government time to approve a proper regional transportation plan for both industry and local communities.
