The respondent 2274659 Ontario Inc. and the intervenor the Minister of Northern Development and Mines will have until June 29, 2015 to file responding materials if they elect to do so.
I believe this case will continue. Court fees, loss of use/business these costs are too high.
Noront could not afford them and that would put a stop in any behind the scene progresses that may be going on untill a new player came into the Ring. (major)
KWG would have to wait years to get compensation if we were still in business at that time.
I bolded part of a sentence which I believe Noront may have to appease the Minister of Mines to continue this court action.
Unless???? Ontario pays the compensation to KWG and agrees to drop the action. (not likely)
So in my opinion. When KWG loses this appeal, wins Koper lake access claims and makes a deal with the Natives on the production of Blackhorse chromite things will be moving forward at a rapid pace again.
I believe the east/west road would be a fantastic move forward for KWG as well. The problem is permits have to be issued.
