As a former Northern Ontarian - I would have to disagree. It's been what 15 plus years that the ROF has been known. The PC's were only in for 9 years. The fact is that it's in Ontario where the North is ignored. I moved to where things get done. In Alberta if that 60 billion dollar deposit was sitting in the ground - the provincial government would have built the road. They would have worked out agreements with FN. Fort MacKay band has a group of companies that brings in over 100 million dollars a year to that community. They work with industry. It's dissappointing to see how the north is treated. The only thing that the new Lib government will garuantee is more taxes.
As we say out here in Alberta - Git'r done!
