The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Thursday was a solid 64-51-142. The TSX Venture Exchange gained two points to 679 while polished diamond prices edged lower. Frank Smeenk's Debut Diamonds Inc. (DDI) closed unchanged at 2.5 cents on 802,000 shares. Debut has an intriguing diamond prospect near the Victor mine in Northern Ontario; larger samples are needed to prove or kill the play, but Debut has no cash. (...)
