08:40 AM EDT, 09/06/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Exploration company RNC Minerals (RNX.TO) said Friday that during the month of August, it produced 8,104 ounces of gold, an increase from 7,873 ounces in July.

Furthermore, the company said it has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters, led by Haywood Securities, to amend their previously announced bought-deal financing.

The company will now issue 45 million units, with each unit consisting of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, at a price of C$0.40 apiece, for gross proceeds of C$18 million. The company had originally planned to issue 45 million common shares at C$0.40 apiece.

The company will still use the funds from the offering to increase production at Beta Hunt, for its Higginsville Gold Operations, and for general corporate purposes.
