12:24 PM EDT, 04/20/2020 (MT Newswires) -- RNC Minerals (RNX.TO) was up nearly 4% after the company on Monday said it produced 24,816 ounce of gold from its Australian mining operations and reiterated it guidance.
The result is 7.7% below its fourth-quarter output of 26,874 ounce from its Higginsville mill and Beta Hunt mine, acquired last June.
"We remain on track to achieve our 2020 gold production guidance of 90,000-95,000 ounces," chief executive Paul Andre Huet said in a release.
RNC said its operations have not been disrupted by quarantine measures and it had C$38.4 million in cash at the end of the first quarter.
The company's shares were last seen up C$0.015 to C$0.40 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
