08:26 AM EDT, 10/14/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Karora Resources Inc. (KRR.TO), which lost 0.5% yesterday, said Wednesday that it produced 24,717 ounces of gold in the third quarter from its Beta Hunt and Higginsville mines in Western Australia.

Gold sales totaled 22,912 ounces. The company explained that the difference with production figures was due to the timing of gold deliveries to the Perth Mint.

Year-to-date production stood at 73,612 ounces, in line with the company's 2020 gold production guidance of 90,000 ounces to 95,000 ounces at all-in sustaining cost of US$1,050 per ounce to US$$1,200 per ounce.

Karora's consolidated cash balance increased to $67.3 million as of Sept. 30, up 34% from $50.2 million on June 30.
