And even if this was the first revolution started and completed by unhappy drug lords, they would still, most likely keep the mining industry intact to keep money flowing into their drug running cartels. Why would they destroy such a cash cow, especially during a time of world wide depression when drug revenues are falling? Sure maybe there will be higher royalties, but in the environment Willie speaks of, the price of gold will be so high that such payments will be inconsequential. Numerous factors must come together to destabilize an entire country. Mexico has been in much worse shape in the past and nothing significant along these lines has happened.
