Message: Re: Kudlow and Nietzsche's Will to Power

Bull,

This makes perfect sense. Kudlow and his reign of ignorance has lasted throughout the entirety of the Greenspan era of the Fed. I have not read Greenspan's latest book, but did catch an interview that he had with Jon Stewart. He blatantly made the statement that reality is of little importance. Human perception is all that matters. He made the claim that if the Fed could correctly guage human perception, it could manipulate the markets and the economy perfectly. How scary is it that one of the most influential and powerful men in our nation over the course of the last several decades, holds a belief that truth does not matter? It's the ability to manipulate truth to influence perception that truly matters. ( Note: This sounds very similar to the Jim Cramer segment that FSN played a couple of weeks back). Interestingly enough, in a separate interview discussing the US currency, Greenspan laid out several reasons why all fiat currencies were in trouble. When asked by the interviewer what currency he would be buying, with a chuckle he said, 'Gold'. This facade will soon come crashing down. I have a hunch that we will see a very rough week for the markets in this upcoming week.
