Crimson........you bring up an interesting point----that of the general public consciousness. Almost every time I bring up gold & silver in a conversation with friends, I invariably get silence and disinterest. I have been known to clear out a room once I start espousing about the dollar as a fiat currency and gold/silver as real money. Then try and mention mining stocks and its as if I had 2 heads.

Also, I think the GLD & SLV ETF's are getting much of the money that otherwise would have flowed into the junior mining stocks

This has been a slow and long course with these juniors................
