Guys, this is a gift. I'm singing a song right now. It's one of the songs from A Christmas Carol, (Finney, 1972 musical). It goes like this:
"Thank you very much, thank you very much, that's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me!" (at this point, you jump and click your heals.)
At this point in the movie, Scrooge has just forgiven all the debts owed by the whole town. He's giving away toys, candy, buying the whole toy store and giving it away to poor children. Widows get a nice hot goose, that sort of thing.
That's what the manipulators are doing for you and me today. I'm just grateful that the highly irregular earnings of my small business peak in August, which means it's time to go shopping again whilst I sing:
"THANK YOU VERY MUCH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, THAT'S THE NICEST THING THAT ANYONE'S EVER DONE FOR ME!"
