The Limits of Propaganda

This is a very astute observation. Isn't this like a store that advertises items at one price and then changes the price tag at the register. "I'm sorry, sir, it's really this price, our ad was wrong." anybody who really wants the thing pays one price, but the whole world believes that transactions are taking place at another price.

Do you want silver? Go to a coin dealer and try and get it at the spot price? It's not easy.

There are limits to propaganda. The Nazi's experienced this when they keep writing news story after news story about how the Nazi armies were winning glorious battle after glorious battle. The trouble was explaining why those battles kept getting closer to Germany's borders.

The real issue, once again is that people still take dollars as payment. When that stops, all heck will break loose in the gold and silver markets.

There is a real shortage of money. It's just that dollars are still accepted as money, so no one sees the shortage.
