Personally, I always think it's important to back out on the charts and look at the grand scheme of things when I think "I missed out" or "I should have waited because now it's cheaper." It's interesting to look at the early stages of some juniors that progressed into mid-tier companies or got bought out. For example, look at Silver Standard. In 2002 it was trading near $3/share. Later that year it doubled to $6/share. Now, I'm sure people who bought at $6 at the time were upset that they had missed the double... but do you think they were complaining five years later when their $6 went to $40?

I guess it just depends on your time horizon, but if you are accumulating for the long run, like myself, I say buy a little now and wait another 1-2 months to buy a little more, just in case. I don't think anyone can time these exactly.
