Gold as Money, Bretton Woods, Ferdinand Lips and Prostitution

The price of Kimber in American dollars makes little difference right now. The dollar is going to collapse. I know I sound like like Peter Schiff, but the Dollar is unstable. It is going to collapse. I was rereading Ferdinand Lips yesterday and it came to me as clear as a bell.

It doesn't make any difference where Kimber is priced in dollars right now, because the dollar will soon be irrelevant. We need to start thinking about things in terms of gold. In the 1940's at times, , $3500 could buy an average house in California when gold was at $35 an ounce, therefore 100 ounces could buy a house. This is probably close to what your house is really worth today, still. So at $800 an ounce, the average house is probably worth $80,000 in California which means that if it is priced at $800,000 it has to fall a whole lot or gold has to rise a whole lot.

There can be no escaping this type of outcome. We all need to start valuing things in real money terms, not in dollars, because the dollar will soon be a thing of the past. This is going to happen in your lifetime. So think about it.

Bretton Woods allowed the US to substitute the dollar for gold. This represents tremendous power. Tremendous power! And that power has, of course, been abused tremendously. Therefore we have the mess we have. But it is coming to an end. Inflation...Deflation. What's the difference? Asian prostitute, hispanic prostitute, Caucasian prostitute...Makes no difference. The adultery is still the same. The result is still the same.

Quit watching the market if its driving you crazy. There will be very few standing when this whole thing is over. Bull
