Equal spot prices of Platinum and Gold - 1st time since 1980!

Anyone care to opine on the significance of Platinum and Gold's spot prices about equal at $835?

Ratio 1:1 for first time since 1980!

Platinum's contracting price largely due to its industrial uses, e.g., catalytic converters, etc. Copper suffering similar fate.
