KBX in 09, what to expect

It seems the following is happening with KBX as we look out 6 months or so:

1) They are preparing an updated resource calculation, because there are around 35-40 holes that they have assayed but not included in the resource. This should help the stock price I would imagine.

2) We should be getting some samplings from the property south of Mexico City. No big deal but likely coming in Q1

3) We should be getting further info on the silver recovery rates at Carmen. This is a relatively complex process but a pretty big deal to institutions as it sheds light on the economics of bringing the shiny stuff out of the ground

4) No drills are turning now because it's expensive. This isn't terrible news because the market is not rewarding drill results anyway right now; might as well sit tight and crank them up when market conditions are more appropriate. I believe this will change in Q3 and we'll get some more rigs out there, but it's merely a guess.

I do like the way this story is turning out. Mgmt is acting prudent and working on things that will be accretive to shareholders. Anyone wanna wager a guess on what the updated resource may look like? I'm hoping for 2.2-2.5M oz's, but we'll see I guess. The nice fact of the matter is that 75% of their resource is M&I and not just inferred.

Let's hope some volume comes to the market asap!

Good luck...
