Message: Latest Update on Kimber: Discussion with Gordon Cummings

SB--excellent update, many thanks.

The only thing I question is the following---clearly Kimber is seeking to set itself up for a purchase. If it occurs within 12-24 months, we shareholders need 2 things to happen in tandem if this is going to be very profitable for us. Quite frankly, recent buyouts have been very disappointing for the acquired company shareholders. The premium offered was way below the return anticipated by the shareholders.

Therefore, we need the current price of Kimber to spike upward in order to compensate for a low bid offer by an acquiring company. Otherwise, how strong is the board and their plans to thwart a low bid offer---or an offer that clearly does not rise to the $7-20/share that you raised in your post? Without a drastic spike in Kimber's price alongside the 43-101, I do not see a company bidding that high for the shares based on recent market deals. Will the Board sit tight and have enough to thwart a low bid?
