Creating value through Exploration and Development in the Sierra Madre of Mexico
Guys,
It's been said and reiterated by many market gurus of late that buy and hold is dead. I've signed on to that premise.
And that means that one doesn't need to feel wed to a position. In my case, I bought in high initially in Kimber, averaged down my position to a cost of about .91 a share, and sold three quarters of my position yesterday at an average of 1.50 give or take, when the stock price seemed to find dropping to be the path of least resistance.
I like the long-term prospects of this company, but understand that there will be pops and drops along the way. If you don't try to catch the bottoms and tops of these, and settle for carving out a nice slice in the middle, you can make a nice profit.
I will be scaling in again, if the expected erosion of the price continues for .20 or more.
