In light of all the "gold bubble" talk we hear in the mainstream news media today. I thought you all would appreciate this:
"The days of the goldbugs are numbered, and if you have profits as the result of the 'gold bubble' you had better start salting away your rewards from speculating on man's irrationality."
This is a quote from the Dines Letter in which James Dines quotes another newsletter writer. It appeared in the March 30, 1973 issue of his letter when gold was trading at $90 en route to $850 in the next few years.
Mr. Dines, most likely out of kindness, failed to name the commentator, but if any of you are interested in subscribing to his newsletter, if it still exists, I'm sure Mr. Dines could probably give you the name if you contact him directly. Bull
