Follower,
This decrease of 50,350 shares is insignificant when compared to the nearly 3 million shares controlled by Puplava for his clients. Even so, it only gives a fraction of the full picture. We also need to look at what Puplava owns for himself, for his family trust, and what other persons in his family own:
http://www.secinfo.com/d19eV3.sb.htm
Between the last filing (3/5/07) to this most recent filing (10/1/09), I note the following changes:
NAME OF REPORTING PERSON: James J. Puplava
3/5/07 - 5,221,000 shares
10/1/09 - 5,640,956 shares
Increase: 419,956 shares
NAME OF REPORTING PERSON: Puplava Family Trust
3/5/07 - 138,986 shares
10/1/09 - 196,757 shares
Increase: 57,771 shares
I find Item 5, Footnote (b) particularly telling:
"(b) James J. Puplava and Mary Puplava are husband and wife, and may be deemed to beneficially own any Shares beneficially owned by the other. Mary Puplava holds 49,835 Shares in a revocable trust and 510,800 Shares in an IRA Account. 1,221,214 of the Shares beneficially owned by Mr. Puplava are held in a 401(k) plan through which Mr. Puplava has the power to purchase additional shares, and to vote and to sell shares held in the account. Mr. Puplava also holds 25,700 Shares in an IRA. Mr. and Mrs. Puplava also beneficially own 196,757 Shares held in the Puplava Family Trust of which they are trustees.
The Shares beneficially owned by Mr. & Mrs. Puplava also include 254,200 shares held by Fig Tree Foundation, a private foundation. Mr. and Mrs. Puplava have the power to direct the voting and disposition of the Shares held by the foundation."
I think it is much more telling to look at what someone is doing with their own money than to look at small changes in clients' holdings, which may change frequently due to individual circumstances. Everyone should of course do their own due dillegence, but I believe that Puplava knows what is coming in the future for Kimber, seeing as he owns a total of 5,359,986 shares. If you follow the money you will note that most of these were purchased years ago at MUCH higher prices than today.
I don't believe he is in this company merely to break even on 5 million + shares that were purchased between $1 - $3. I believe he is in this for much higher prices ahead. That, of course, is speculation on my part, but I cannot rationalize any other reason for owning so many shares and continuing to buy more if one is not convinced that multiples of today's share price lie in our future.
Best regards,
Hysteria
