As the 180-day self imposed moratorium deadline in Ecuador is fast approaching (was it Friday, April 18?). Today is October 14 already. Is there any word on when the government (since it won its constitution approval) will act to lift this ban? This most important matter seems to have fallen through the cracks.
If Ecuador is truly serious about building a mining industry it should have done that already. Or do they always do what they always do and pay some meaningless lip service (such as our favourite "responsible mining") but do nothing afterwards.
