05:40 AM EDT, 05/01/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Kirkland Lake Gold (KL) said late Monday it has identified a potential new source of gold production at Union Reefs in Australia's Northern Territory.

Based on the drill results, the company said high-grade visible-gold bearing mineralization was found to extend to 1,000 meters below the surface at Union Reefs.
