This technology is amazing. Pinpoint directional sound!

I envision a scenario in someplace like Iraq or Afganistan.

A Special Forces unit chance upon "Achmed", over-seeing his minions placing a roadside bomb. They direct the antenna toward him and, in Arabic, loud and booming, say his name "ACHMED"!

He responds, "What?...Who said my name?"

His crew looks up, wondering who he is talking to.

Again, "ACHMED"!

"What"?, he asks.

"This is God! No virgins for you, Achmed"!

Then the SF guys "light'em up"!

OK, maybe not the best use of the technology, but the idea makes me smile.

Seriously, besides the obvious communication abilities in battlefield communications, think of non-lethal crowd control in riot situations, or major catastrophic events. Every police force in every major city in the world could use several.

In hostage situations you could literally get inside the perps head! Or, bring him to his knees with massive decibels.

Just a few thoughts.
