Hmmm, I wonder if there is a bunch of maintenance coming down the pipe that has been delayed over the last couple of years due to mining companies wanting to be in full production while Ni prices were so high. If so, there could be widespread maintenance shutdowns (I know Xtrata recently had one at their mill in Falconbridge.) Maintenance shutdowns are usually timed for summer months to align with vacation demand.
That might help out a bit in reducing supply in the short term, but I doubt the impact would be significant.
