Jim Puplava has done a great series on naked short selling and small cap stock manipulation. In his 2nd or 3rd installment (I can't remember which one) he outlined the many different strategies used by these groups to try and manipulate share price. What we saw happen near the bell on Friday was a perfect example of one of those.
