You are right in thinking it's much cheaper to buy and the leverage behind that kind of buying is awesome once the stock turns.

The crowd who sees a buyer for every seller also must note the general downtrend. The downtrend a result of the buyers being outnumbered by the selling pressure on the stock. Upticks and downticks advance/decline you name it it's all about the balance and the end result. What has been the overall trading pattern and price trend. The end result of the balance?

How does one explain Instinet becomming a seller?

It has gotten cheaper over the month, as we can see in that graph. I make note of the volumes for the week. Granted it's a crazy crappy week and for the last month/s there's been big pressure on commodities and metal prices. But ,what I wonder about is the churning this stock has done on increasing volume. Yesterday or so I asked about the possibility of some folks trading any cycles? I was told there haven't been any cycles, but instead a long down trend. .....I saw cycles of a low of .17 and highs of .24/.25 Some one may trade those alright.

For those who can't see that think of a 17 dollar stock and a run to 24 dollars...its all about %'s

Since labor day it's been churning pretty good despite what I see as pretty good news out and the fact that two well heeled Mining types are on board.

In the end it's good there has been the buying there has been. As wanderer has stated a change of hands, a move to stronger hands, so many scenarios.
