Good Afternoon to you all.

Thank you for your thoughts. At a glance you do have a point as we could have spared Liberty Mines Shareholders and their Inspiration Mining counterparts from a great degree of banter.

However one of the key premises of our system is merit; that refers to the merit we put forward to every participant within our community. We understand that our system isn't perfect however it is proven to be of benefit for the majority of all shareholders within our community.

Keeping a balance between objectivity, relevance and community wellness is quite hard to strike. Removing all the messages which add little or nothing to a company would detriment free expression; allowing everything to remain posted would equate to chaos.

Relevance is a vague principle and one which varies from individual to individual. Please take that into consideration when viewing a message on our boards. What is irrelevant or obsolete now was indeed a fellow community member’s expression three hours ago, and it was backed up by fact.

Free speech is a basic human right but so is civility and understanding. By expressing an opinion in a libelous or offensive manner is in violation of free speech.

Now if you have a dissenting opinion or your is way outside consensus you can feel free and express it.

I am very well aware that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that is very highly regarded; what I cannot understand or tolerate is somebody choosing their own "facts" or acting outright childish.

I also recognize that it is often very difficult to prove a negative — that something perceived to be true is not, or that you did not do something for the reasons or motivations suggested by someone else (the majority). In my experience, naked denials, in contrast to unsubstantiated claims, often fall on deaf ears and lazy minds.

Going against a trend is a great way to stir up debate; but there are limits.

With that said if any member feels they have something relevant, informative and qualitative to share with others in this Hub, or in any other Hub, they should feel free to do so as long as their manners are consistent with our six rules of use and of course our Community Standard.
