With all due respect, who could have predicted how hard we would get hit by the credit crisis. This crisis is not just in Canada but world wide.

It does not make it any easier for us but how would you suggest that Harper protect us from this crisis?

You are also in the midst of an election campaign, which will result in some party coming into power, who will have to generate a budget that can guide our country through this. Then, if it is a minority - you will also have to get the opposition parties, willing to set aside their party differences and work on a solution together that will not block due and thorough passage of the bill. For once I would love to see a vote on a bill that is not based on party line.
