I agree, fear is subsiding in the short term. But I am sure you will agree that there is still a lot of fear out there, it is just that last week there was absolute terror. It is all relative.
I found it interesting to read last night about opportunistic buying of some big stakes in US companies that have dropped so much in the grips of fear. For instance, Aflac is looking to buy AIG's Japan unit. And the Japanese are picking over Lehman's carcass. Greed indeed.
Not that I am judging. My own greed and fear levels have been in a state of flux lately as well.
