Producing Mines and "state-of-the-art" Mill
There is and has been plenty of healthy discussion and debate on these boards in months past where people have questioned the company and brought difficult and sometimes painful questions and truths before the group. Brought in a constructive manner, these posts were never removed and I myself have certainly added some negativity to these boards now and then and have never had an issue arise where my motives were questioned or posts were removed. Why? Because people know me as a concerned shareholder with real money on the table and while I may despair at times, I never wish ill will upon any other LBE shareholder.
It comes down to the approach and the motives of the poster. It is no mystery that there exists individuals who are motivated for one reason or another to cast broad negativity upon stock discussion forums such as these and Agoracom's Hub Leader system is designed as a form of self policing against these types of individuals. I am quite tolerant of people who have bouts of frustration/anger towards the company and its actions, I am quite tolerant of people who bring difficult questions to the group to be examined, discussed and debated. But I am not tolerant of individuals who make it their mission to attack the shareholders of a company by spreading continual negativity, twisting truth to near lies or inciting battles (trolling). Whether these individuals do it for personal satisfaction, financial gain or as a vendetta against one or more individuals, these types of people do not belong on these forums and I would far prefer a heavy handed approach and quickly show them the door. We have plenty of shareholders here who carry on all forms of healthy debate without the rabble-rousers. How the ISM forum chooses to police its members and postings is its own decision. Let the battle rage there if its hub leaders want it to continue.
Not everyone will agree with a strict approach to forum oversight, though in times of relative calm, such oversight will be minor and lenient, but majority rules and I believe an overwhelming number of regular LBE visitors would support the strict oversight. If someone doesn't like it, there are many other discussion boards they can move to instead of these ones.
