. It said Monday that it now is "in discussions with various lenders for financing alternatives" to that arrangement, and expects to offer details "shortly."

It sounds like financing is not totally out of the question.

it expected nickel costs of US$6.00 to US$7.25 a pound for the remainder of the year.

Today Ni prices were $5.0198US or about $6.12 Cdn.

From the press release then the Redstone mine is giving us the lowest cost ore. During these times - we must go with those choices which cause the lowest burn rates. Liberty will focus in the short term on areas underground which can be mined quickly and processed at the Redstone mill. From the term quickly, I wonder if this could be ore mined at greater then 200 tpd.
