Producing Mines and "state-of-the-art" Mill
Hi Wanderer, when I read it I had wondered about the chance of developing a break though technology or method that was unique and could be applied elsehwere. After reading, it sounds very much like a joint effort between LBE and GE. As such you can bet that GE will be "selling this as cost saving" when hitting up other potential customers. How about even as an upgrade for many already using a similar process as well?
A nice cost saver, would have went well with the additional flotation cct that LBE had planned/spoke of for those additional recoveries that were mentioned on here before.
"Liberty Mines Environmental Manager (Gerry Stinson) commented: "Our partnership with the local and technical branches of General Electric Water and Process Technologies has allowed us to explore new and innovative ways to treat mine effluent water. We are very pleased with the announcement of this award and openly share it with General Electric, including their local team of experts."
