Ramp development at the mine was complete to the 105m level by late October 2008 when a sudden down turn in the price of nickel forced the mine to be placed on care and maintenance. As soon as commodity prices improve, anticipated to be in the second half of 2009, the mine is planned to be re-opened. There is about 3 months of additonal development to be done to reach the 150m level of the mine.
