I hope you are right Traps.
We both remember back around 1980 when there were tremendous Nickel inventories, the price was low, and the economy was awful, with 19% inflation. INCO locked the union out, people were losing their homes.... it was the worst time in Sudbury's recent history.
I think it was worse back then, and the mines and the City bounced back. History will repeat itself here, it is just a matter of time.
I would not want to be suddenly thrust into a 2 or 3 month shutdown of course. I hope that the pipelines clear and that there is enough demand and enough work for everyone to get back to work.
As long as Lbe hangs on here, it will be well-poised to take advantage of the rebound. IMHO.
